Breaking free from anything is hard enough... But learning how to stay free when you…
Free To Be You… Your True Identity in Christ
Free to be you, and free to be what God has created you for really speaks to your true identity in Christ more than anything else.
If you are anything like me… and I believe you are in some aspects. You to have wondered the what, who, why and where about your life.
It’s a question or questions that we all ask about ourselves at some point or another in our lives.
I’m sure that you have heard someone make this statement before … I need to find myself or I’m trying to find myself. You have probably said it about yourself as well. Am I right?
Disclaimer: If you are reading this article and you have not yet received the salvation of the LORD… None of this will apply to you or make sense to you.
If you are already saved please forgive me, and you can skip this part.
So, if the LORD has been pulling on your heartstrings, and I believe that he has and is at this moment. Let’s get that thing of being saved solved right now!
The Bible says that whosoever will call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So, all you have to do is call upon Him now by repeating this simple prayer.
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need a Savior. I also believe that you died on the cross in my place as a sacrifice for my sins. But the grave could not hold you and you rose again to life after three days for my justification.
The Bible also tells me that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is LORD and believe with my heart that God raised you Lord Jesus from the dead I will be saved.
I believe this LORD Jesus… Please come into my heart and save me. It’s in your name that I pray LORD Jesus.
If you prayed this prayer, go and tell someone about your new life in Christ and let’s further discover…
Your Identity in Christ
If you have read my testimony you already know that I spent some time in the rescue mission in my home town of Jacksonville, FL. You can read a little bit about that here.
But not now… I must insist that you finish exploring and discovering your true nature and identity in Christ first.
So, when I was being disciplined at the Rescue Mission and Freedom Farm I was introduced to Dr. Neil T Anderson.
He is also the founder and president emeritus of Freedom in Christ Ministries.
If you should get a chance I strongly recommend that you read these two or any of his work for that matter.
I decided on doing something a little bit more visual with this piece and I really hope it blesses you as it has for me.
Please Note: Knowing and understanding our True Identity in Christ is absolutely important for us to live a Successful and Victorious Christian Lifestyle!
